Replacing gas heaters
Swap warm-air gas heaters or old boilers in offices and showrooms for efficient heat pumps that also cool.
Air-to-air heat pumps provide efficient heating and cooling from one system: a practical, fast way to decarbonise heating in offices, retail and hospitality.

An air-to-air heat pump extracts heat from outdoor air and delivers it indoors as warm air through wall, ceiling, cassette or ducted units. In summer, the cycle reverses to provide cooling. It’s the same technology as modern air conditioning, used as the building’s primary heating.
Because refrigerant pipes are small and there’s no need for radiators or a plant room, installation is usually quicker and less disruptive than other low-carbon heating options, which matters in occupied commercial buildings.
Typical efficiencies mean several units of heat for each unit of electricity, so air-to-air systems can cut energy use substantially compared with direct electric heating, and carbon compared with gas.

Direct electric heating is expensive to run. Heat pumps deliver the same comfort for a fraction of the electricity.
Year-round comfort for customers, with heating and cooling from the same units.

Essentially yes: it’s reverse-cycle air conditioning used as a heating system as well as for cooling.
Correctly sized systems heat effectively through typical UK winters. We size for your building’s heat loss.
For space heating in many offices and shops, yes. Hot water needs a separate solution.
The current £2,500 air-to-air grant is for domestic properties only. Public sector organisations may have access to decarbonisation funding, so check what applies to you.
We work with businesses, public sector organisations, landlords and main contractors across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire, from single-site offices to multi-site estates.
